She graduated from The University of North Florida with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2003 and again with her Master of Art in Counseling Psychology in 2008. She is currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor with over 20 years of providing clinical and social services to the residents of Northeast Florida. During this time, she has the pleasure of working with children, adolescents, and adults in various treatment settings. Her specialties include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Nutritional Psychology. She believes in a whole-body treatment approach that includes addressing all facets that may be contributing to symptoms while working together to achieve and maintain optimum behavioral health and wellness. In addition, she incorporates a whole-person approach by working with children’s academic and social support networks to ensure treatment success. She also offers clinical supervision to post-graduate level interns seeking licensure in the state of Florida.
Nature is at the core of Adria’s life and practice. Her hobbies include traveling, boating, shark tooth hunting, creating art, and spending time with family and friends. Nature has offered her the gift of resiliency throughout many challenges in her own life. She is the mother of a son with autoimmune and developmental exceptionalities. Her son’s healing journey offered hands on experience into how integrative early interventions have the power to heal. Watching her son’s incredible recovery ignited a passion to offer this knowledge to others.
